All indications are that Mike Holmgren will return to the Seahawks as their head coach next season.
He used a lot of “we” and “us” when talking offseason moves after Saturday’s game. The San Francisco situation is not ideal, and Seattle management is unlikely to want Holmgren out.

NFL Network’s Steve Wyche reports that the Seahawks are expected to hire current Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp to fill the same position in Seattle after the season.
Move aside, Gil Haskell. Jim Mora, who will take over for Mike Holmgren in 2009, worked with Knapp during their stint together in Atlanta. Knapp runs a West Coast offense like Haskell and Holmgren currently have in place, but uses fewer three- and four-receiver sets. The offensive production in Seattle will threaten to go down if this marriage happens.

The Seahawks’ next offensive coordinator will be Greg Knapp, according to NFL.com’s Adam Schefter.
Knapp is coming from Oakland, where he began the season as playcaller. He will keep Seattle’s West Coast offense intact, so Matt Hasselbeck won’t have to learn new terminology. Knapp has also used zone blocking in both Atlanta and Oakland. While upgrades are possible, Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett are expected to form a “1-2" punch in Seattle for now. The scheme has been mostly successful no matter the location, so Jones could benefit.

According to ESPN’s Mike Sando, the Seahawks quietly extended GM John Schneider’s contract through the 2016 season.
Per Sando, the deal was done “more than a year” ago. And it’s well deserved. Entering just his fourth season on the job, Schneider has morphed Seattle from a 5-11 club under Jim Mora to an annually improving team under Pete Carroll. The Seahawks finished 11-5 in 2012 and came within two points of an NFC Championship Game berth. With the offseason additions of Percy Harvin, Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril, and Christine Michael, there’s arguably no more talented roster in football as 2013 training camp approaches.

Seahawks signed offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell to a contract extension.
Bevell was a candidate for the Arizona head-coaching vacancy, but withdrew his name after re-upping in Seattle. The details of the extension are unknown, but it’s a good keep after Seattle lost defensive coordinator Gus Bradley to the Jaguars. The Seahawks ranked No. 17 in total offense this season, but the unit really trended up after Russell Wilson found his stride.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports Mike Holmgren will return next season as head coach.
The team will fire it’s special-teams coach. The Seahawks have a huge amount of free agents. Look for them to sign Matt Hasselbeck first, try to keep Walter Jones second, and everyone else after that.

Seahawks hired former Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland as an NFL draft consultant.
The Seahawks will discuss a permanent role with Ireland after the draft. Ireland’s draft record with the Dolphins was far from stellar, but he will offer another experienced voice in the Seahawks’ war room.

Speaking on KJR Radio, Mike Holmgren said that Seahawks’ desire to re-sign their own free agents would prevent them from going after top-tier free agents such as Alan Faneca.
Faneca was thought to be a top target of the Seahawks this offseason after their struggles in the running game, but the team has limited cap space and will apparently focus on re-signing Marcus Trufant, D.J. Hackett, Josh Brown and Sean Locklear to new deals.

Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren wouldn’t commit to returning to the team in 2008 during his post-game press conference Saturday.
Holmgren would only say that he’ll meet with players and coaches on Sunday, then go home and talk to his wife before making a decision on his future. It’s been speculated that Holmgren might retire, but his those near him don’t believe he will.

ESPN’s John Clayton reports Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren is “50-50" on whether he’ll retire.
Holmgren is expected to decide his future by Tuesday. Clayton, who used to work as a beat reporter in Seattle, says no one in the Seahawks’ organization knows for sure which way Holmgren is leaning.
