U.S. skier Bode Miller didn’t enjoy the fastest finish during his second day of downhill training like he did in his first, but he was still generally happy - if tired - after giving the course another run.
“I skied great,” Miller said, via NBC’s Joe Battaglia. “I just made one really big mistake today. I was definitely more tired today than yesterday.”
Miller finished sixth on Friday. Being that he’s 36 and coming off significant knee surgery, it’s not shocking that he’s experiencing a little fatigue. Even so, it sounds he’ll make another training run to work out the kinks.

“It’s still a little bit awkward linking together for me, coming off the top and linking it to the middle section,” Miller said. “I pretty much have the line sorted. I will try a different ski again tomorrow, then try to clean up the sections.”
