New U.S. champions in pairs and ice dance will be crowned in Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday afternoon.

In pairs, former U.S. silver medalists Alexa Scimeca and Christopher Knierim take a 5.63-point lead into the free skate after they posted the highest pairs short program score in U.S. Championships history on Thursday.

In ice dance, Sochi Olympic couples Madison Chock and Evan Bates and siblings Maia and Alex Shibutani are separated by just .11 going into the free dance. They’re vying for the title with Olympic gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White sitting out this season.

NBC and NBC Sports Live Extra will have three hours of coverage from the Greensboro Coliseum.
