Michael Buble thanks “ShibSibs” for using his music in short dance

Maia and Alex Shibutani of the U.S. made their Olympic ice dancing debut in yesterday’s short dance and didn’t fare badly, picking up a Top 10 spot in the standings as they head into this morning’s free dance.

They’ve also picked up a new fan in pop crooner (and ex-Vancouver Canuck-for-a-day) Michael Buble, who thanked the “ShibSibs” for using his music yesterday:

Yesterday, the brother/sister duo explained via the Olympic News Service why they chose to go with Buble’s work:

You can see if they move up from ninth position (this time, to a medley of Michael Jackson’s greatest hits) in the free dance, which will be LIVE on NBCSN and on NBCOlympics.com starting at 10 a.m. ET.
