2026 ALL-STAR FUTURES GAME PRESENTED BY NIKE (Sunday, July 12, at Noon ET on NBC and Peacock)

MLB’s rising stars, including baseball’s No. 1 overall prospect Jesús Made (Milwaukee Brewers/Biloxi Shuckers-AA), take center stage during NBC Sports’ first-ever national broadcast of the All-Star Futures Game presented by Nike at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, this Sunday, July 12, at Noon ET on NBC and Peacock.

Play-by-play voice Melanie Newman will be joined on the call of the All-Star Futures Game by analysts Yonder Alonso and Sam Dykstra, and field reporter Sande Charles.

The All-Star Futures Game features baseball’s top Minor League prospects competing in a seven-inning National League vs. American League format. This year, Shane Victorino and Larry Bowa, both World Series champions with the Phillies, will manage the NL and AL Futures Teams, respectively. More information on the National League and American League Futures Game rosters is available here.

MLBx PRESENTED BY ITO EN (Sunday, July 12, at 3 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBCSN)

Immediately following the All-Star Futures Game, NBC Sports’ coverage of MLBx presented by ITO EN, a 3-on-3 co-ed baseball competition debuting this summer, begins at 3 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBCSN.

Tyler Maun will handle play-by-play alongside analyst Kait Maniscalco and field reporter Robert Flores.

A first-of-its-kind competition, MLBx presented by ITO EN will feature four three-player teams captained by Phillies legends Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, and Shane Victorino, and Atlanta Braves Hall of Famer Andruw Jones. Joining the captains will be professional AUSL softball players Alyssa Brito, Tiare Jennings, Rachel Garcia, and NiJaree Canady; Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith; Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens; and other professional athletes and celebrities.

All four teams will compete head-to-head in a bracket-style event featuring two semifinals and a final. Each game will last approximately 30 minutes, with each player receiving one two-minute at-bat during a three-inning game, while the opposing team positions its three players in the outfield. Teams earn one point for each home run and one point for each catch, with bonus points awarded for hitting balls through a center-field target above the outfield fence or calling for a “hot streak” — a five-swing stretch during which offensive and defensive points count double. The team with the most points at the end of each game wins. More information on MLBx, its game format, and its teams is available here.

NBC SPORTS’ MLB TRADITION

NBC Sports has a distinguished history with Major League Baseball. The first-ever MLB television broadcast was a 1939 Cincinnati Reds-Brooklyn Dodgers doubleheader on W2XBS (the precursor to WNBC-TV) in New York. NBC Sports was a home to the first World Series broadcast in 1947, the first All-Star Game nationally broadcast in 1952, and has televised 39 World Series – more than any other network.

From 1957-2000, NBC Sports was home to a wealth of baseball programming, including Game of the Week and Monday Night Baseball telecasts, more than 30 All-Star Games, and countless iconic Postseason moments. For the 2022-23 seasons, Peacock was the exclusive home of MLB Sunday Leadoff, a first-of-its-kind Sunday morning presentation featuring a unique three-announcer broadcast booth with one analyst with expertise on each team joining the play-by-play voice.
