Rodions Kurucs has agreed to a one-year deal with Real Betis Basketball of Spain’s ACB.
A second-round pick of the Nets in 2018, Kurucs most recently played for KK Partizan in Serbia. Between the Adriatic League and EuroCup competition, the veteran forward appeared in 25 games last season.

Rodions Kurucs plans to sign a 2-year-deal with Serbian club Partizan, according to EuroHoops.net.
The deal will be for two years but will include an NBA out each summer should a team want to give Kurucs a look. Kurucs has spent time with the Nets, Rockets and Bucks in his three years since being drafted 40th overall by the Brooklyn Nets in 2018. Prior to making the jump to the NBA, Kurucs spent six years with European powers Barcelona and Riga. In 131 NBA games, Kurucs averaged 6.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists.

  • MIL Shooting Guard #6
The Bucks are planning to sign former BYU standout, Elijah Bryant.
The Bucks will waive Rodions Kurucs to make room for the 6-4 guard. Bryant most recently played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, averaging 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.1 triples. He’s not a lock to see minutes in the playoffs.

  • NYK Power Forward #17
P.J. Tucker (sore left ankle) is available for Tuesday’s game vs. the Hornets.
Rodions Kurucs (right oblique strain) is also available, though neither player’s status has a measurable fantasy impact in 12-team leagues.

  • DAL Forward #20
Khris Middleton put up 27 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three 3-pointers and one steal in 25 minutes vs. the Wolves on Wednesday.
None of the Bucks’ starters logged more than Jrue Holiday’s 26 minutes in this matinee. They didn’t need too, because they led by 24 points early in the third quarter and never looked back. Bryn Forbes scored 14 points with one rebound and nothing else in 17 minutes off the bench, Pat Connaughton had 14 points and four boards, and even Rodions Kurucs chipped in eight points in six minutes of garbage time. The Bucks play the Hawks on Thursday in the second half of a back-to-back set, so hopefully the starters’ low minutes will forestall any rest days.

Rodions Kurucs (abdominal strain) was a healthy DNP-CD on Friday.
We can finally get Kurucs off the injury report, but there’s nothing to see here for fantasy purposes.

  • FA Power Forward #00
Rodions Kurucs (abdominal strain) is no longer on the injury report.
He’s unlikely to be in the rotation though unless Bobby Portis (protocols) is unable to play. Kurucs is safe to leave on the waiver wire.

  • FA Power Forward #00
Rodions Kurucs (health and safety protocols) won’t make his debut for the Bucks on Saturday
Kurucs was originally listed out due to an oblique injury that he suffered while in Houston. He is still suffering from the injury, and now Kurucs has the protocol situation to deal with. Mike Budenholzer said that because he came in later than P.J. Tucker, Kurucs’ timetable for return from the oblique injury is unclear. Even when he does play, he won’t make much of a fantasy impact.

  • FA Power Forward #00
Rodions Kurucs (abdominal strain) is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Kurucs, who was dealt to the Bucks as part of the deal centered around P.J. Tucker, has yet to make his Milwaukee debut. Even if he’s cleared to play Saturday night, Kurucs is highly unlikely to play enough to generate any fantasy value.

  • FA Power Forward #00
Rodions Kurucs has been traded to the Bucks.
The stretch four continues to bounce around the NBA. If he couldn’t make an impact on Brooklyn or Houston, we have a hard time believing he’ll carve out any fantasy value on the Bucks. He’s safe to ignore.
