American soccer hero Alex Morgan stopped by the US Soccer’s Studio 90 for a brief chat about her magically game-winning goal against Canada earlier this week.

She sported some awesome pink kicks and talked about the win.

* On her state of mind: “I’m just feeling really good right now.”
* On the goal: “I had no idea the ball went in the back of the net until the crowd erupted.”
* On the gold-medal game against Japan, a rematch of the 2011 World Cup final: “This is what we worked for. It’s fate.”
