Jay Rodriguez is a man in demand.
The Southampton striker has three Premier League teams interested in taking him before the summer transfer window shuts on Wednesday Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. ET.

A source close to the deal has told ProSoccerTalk that West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland and Hull will all hold talks with Rodriguez and his representative over the coming days about a move.
Any deal for Rodriguez also hinges on Saints getting a new forward player in but with a club-record deal of $28 million for Sofiane Boufal rumored to be close to completion, it now seems like the England international will be allowed to seek regular action elsewhere.
It is also believed that Rodriguez will not be sold and the 27-year-old will only be made available for loan by Southampton as he continues to work his way back to full fitness following over two years of injury woe.
Rodriguez ruptured his ACL in his knee in April 2014 when he was at the height of his powers after scoring 15 goals in the Premier League and breaking into the England team ahead of the 2014 World Cup. Since then he has faced multiple injury issues as he has made numerous comebacks for Saints.
West Brom have been linked with a move for Rodriguez earlier this week but both Sunderland and Hull could do with reinforcements ahead of the window shutting.
David Moyes only has Jermain Defoe and Fabio Borini as legitimate forward options, while Hull’s lack of players (they have just 14 fit senior players) is well documented with only Abel Hernandez and Adama Diomande up top.
If Rodriguez can stay fit and get anywhere near back to his best than one of West Brom, Sunderland or Hull will have a heck of a player on their hands.
