There’s no official word on what Coutinho’s injury may be after he departed Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Manchester City in the 68th minute, but Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp offered his thoughts, which are positive ones for the Reds.

Klopp believes Coutinho will be ok, and that his heavy work rate simply resulted in severe cramps, and the club played it safe already 3-1 up.

“I hope [he] is well enough,” Klopp said on the official Liverpool website. “He showed not a real [injury], it was a little bit of cramp, he felt something. I hope that’s all, he will be very important for us, everybody can see he’s in really good shape in this moment. I hope he can react well enough.”

Keeping Coutinho healthy would be a massive boost for the club. He was essential in the big win Saturday, scoring a goal and assisting another. He’s scored four goals over the last three matches, including some absolutely magical strikes.
