Donnarumma became Milan’s number-one earlier this season when he was just 16, and the youngster has been touted as the future Italy goalkeeper when the legendary Gigi Buffon retires.
With Antonio Conte likely to be the manager at Chelsea next season, the club is hopeful the former Italy boss could convince Donnarumma to leave Milan for London and the bright lights and big pay of the Premier League.
