It might just be time to find a more favorable nickname for “Fat Ronaldo.” Based upon evidence on his Instagram page, “Bouncy Ronaldo” — and that’s not squishy stomach joke — might be more apt.

The goalscoring magician formerly known as Ronaldo (Luís Nazário de Lima), who has gained a few pounds since retiring from professional soccer in 2011 — and even the last couple years before that — seems not to have lost a bit of bounce in his step, despite moving up a size or two in the waistline.

The following videos, posted to Ronaldo’s Instagram page on Friday, show the 38-year-old showcasing some hops that would make most NBA players jealous.

110 centimeters = 43.3 inches. That’s insane for a retired soccer player. So, of course, he pressed his luck a bit and went for 113 centimeters (44.5 inches). If if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Ronaldo makes 113 centimeters, which is greater than the vertical leap of Kobe Bryant and equal to that of Lebron James, look like a piece of cake.

Done 113cm! 😊😊😊😊
