The hype surrounding Norwegian teenage wonder Martin Odegaard has been pretty high for a while, and his decision to sign for Real Madrid didn’t knock it down.
And while we’ve heard plenty of words about the kid -- including these from Bob Bradley’s mouth to JPW’s keyboard -- the first video evidence of Odegaard doing work for the Spanish power came out on Wednesday.

The midfielder strapped on the boots for Real Madrid Castilla, the B side, and showed off some nifty footwork with a takeaway in the box (:22) before making the second assist -- hockey alert -- on a goal and later sending a perfectly-weighted through ball into the 18. He helped set up a second goal as well.
