Adams went undrafted despite leading the nation in pass efficiency as a senior. He didn’t get any UDFA offers, and failed to sign with Seattle and Washington after attending their rookie minicamps. Adams will play 2016 in the CFL in an attempt to parlay it into an NFL career.

They’re running with Trevone Boykin instead. A favorite of the draftnik crowd, Adams is small with small hands but is good enough to play professionally somewhere. Like Brett Smith, Adams may want to give the CFL a look.

Adams declared himself the best quarterback in last month’s draft but ultimately didn’t get picked and remains on the street. He tried out for the Seahawks last week, but they didn’t sign him, instead choosing TCU’s Trevone Boykin.

Adams surprisingly didn’t get any UDFA offers. He’ll attempt to parlay a tryout with Seattle into a contract. The Seahawks have also added TCU’s Trevone Boykin to their quarterback mix behind Russell Wilson.
