A second-round pick of the Liberty in the 2024 draft, Carter has been unable to carve out a place for herself in the WNBA. She appeared in two games for the Aces last season and was signed to a training camp deal by the Sky in mid-April. Given Chicago’s combination of depth and youth in the frontcourt, Carter faced challenging odds to make the final roster.
