Sanogo

After appearing in 13 games over two seasons with the Bulls, Sanogo was waived in February, one month after suffering a knee injury. Not selected after a standout college career at UConn, the 6-foot-9 center most recently played for the Jazz in summer league competition. He’s headed to Italy for the next chapter of his professional career. Sanogo’s departure from the NBA will not impact fantasy basketball.

Sanogo will search for a new home while he rehabs his injured knee. This transaction has no impact in the world of fantasy hoops.

Sanogo has only appeared in one game since early November. Initially dealing with a right knee effusion, the current injury is a right knee contusion. Sanogo should be considered out indefinitely.

Sanogo will remain sidelined, but even when he’s been available to play, he rarely sees the floor. His status does not impact fantasy basketball.

Due to left knee contusions, Terry and Sanogo are on the Bulls’ injury report. While Terry may pick up a few more minutes in the aftermath of the trade that sent Zach LaVine to Sacramento, he remains in a position where he’ll offer little fantasy value. Sanogo isn’t in the rotation when healthy, so there’s no need to consider him if the Bulls allow him to play on Tuesday.

Sanogo hardly sees the floor when healthy, so his continued absence will not impact fantasy basketball in the slightest.

Sanogo hasn’t appeared in a game in about a month and has yet to play 10 minutes in a game this season. His absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.

Absent from the initial injury report, Smith was downgraded to questionable Saturday afternoon. He has since been ruled out, opening up a spot behind starting center Nikola Vucecic in the rotation. With Adama Sanogo initially ruled out due to a G League assignment, he may be in the mix for rotation minutes now that Smith is out. There’s no need to consider streaming Sanogo.

Smith has been a steady contributor off the bench as of late. He’s scored at least 10 points in five of his previous eight outings. Adama Sanogo could step in behind Nikola Vucevic if Smith is ruled out.

Smith appears on the injury report, but all signs point toward him being available. The Bulls have already assigned Adama Sanogo to their G League affiliate, and he would serve as Nikola Vucevic’s backup if Smith cannot play. Look for Stix to be in the Bulls’ rotation.
