    Padres released 3B Aderlin Rodríguez.
    A prototypical minor league journeyman, Rodríguez latched on with the Padres during the offseason and was hitting .272/.342/.538 with 12 homers in 199 plate appearances this season at Triple-A El Paso. The 30-year-old infielder has yet to make an appearance in the majors.

    Padres signed 3B Aderlin Rodríguez to a minor league contract.
    Rodríguez spent the entire 2021 campaign at Triple-A Toledo in the Tigers’ minor-league system, slashing a robust .290/.362/.565 with 29 round-trippers 483 plate appearances. The 30-year-old journeyman had a stint with the Padres previously back in 2019. He’ll provide some additional organizational position player depth this upcoming season.

    Tigers signed INF Aderlin Rodriguez to a minor league contract.
    Rodriguez, 29, spent the 2020 season playing for the Orix Buffaloes in Japan where he slashed .242/.299/.445 with 13 homers, 41 RBI and a 74/20 K/BB ratio across 83 games. He played exclusively at first base in 2020, but also has experience at third base and the corner outfield as well. He’ll add organizational depth for the Tigers.

    Padres signed INF Aderlin Rodriguez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
    Rodriguez, 27, batted .286/.335/.478 with 23 home runs at the Double-A level in the Orioles organization last season. He’s never played in the majors and looks like a depth signing.

    Rodriguez, 24, slashed .234/.277/.409 with 13 homers and 50 RBI in 107 contests at Double-A between the Mets and Mariners in 2015. He adds organizational depth for the O’s.

    Rodriguez, 26, batted .279/.341/.471 with 22 homers at Double-A Bowie this past season. He’s yet to appear in the majors.
