Toupane

Toupane hasn’t been in the rotation lately, so the Bucks aren’t missing a huge piece of their puzzle. He can be left on the wire, of course.

These three took the night off on Saturday, with that game being the second of a back-to-back, but they’ll all be back in action tomorrow night — which will shift Jordan Nwora, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Axel Toupane back to the second unit where they will have zero fantasy value.

Unlike Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Jordan Nwora, Toupane failed to take advantage of his rare start. He’ll be back on the bench for Monday’s game against the Clippers, and stands to pick up another DNP-CD as well. Toupane can be left on the waiver wire.

The Bucks, who are playing their second game in as many nights, will be without most of their rotation due to either injuries or rest. Thanasis, Merrill, Toupane and Nwora will all have an opportunity to show what they can do, and outside of foul trouble or injury each one stands to log heavy minutes.

Milwaukee has an open roster spot for a two-way contract, so it’s a no-risk move to add some depth.

Their roster is now down to 17, meaning they still need to waive two more guys. Sampson has improved a ton since his Philly days and should draw some interest around the league.

Toupane had some nice moments with the Nuggets last season, but they are loaded with depth at every position and simply didn’t have the room for him. Toupane should at least draw some interest around the league.

Toupane was most recently with the Nuggets, but the 24-year-old won’t have any fantasy value in 2016-17.

In other words, preseason DFS owners might want to be careful here.

Very limited fantasy impact here, as it is extremely unlikely that Toupane will crack the rotation and see anything other than garbage-time minutes.
