Cameron Oliver has entered the league’s health and safety protocols.
He is able to clear quarantine by January 12 unless the test was a false positive, but he isn’t a fantasy option.

The Lakers announced on Wednesday that they have signed Cameron Oliver to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Oliver, who appeared in four games for the Rockets last season, will now have the opportunity to impress Lakers decision makers in training camp. While the team does have two open roster spots, it’s more likely that Oliver lands with the Lakers’ G League affiliate.

KJ Martin hit 7-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 20 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in 37 minutes of Wednesday’s loss to the Lakers.
Martin kept his foot on the gas tonight and should be rostered everywhere. Just look at his game log if you don’t believe us. Jae’Sean Tate was nice with 16 points, five boards and three 3-pointers on 6-of-10 shooting and Cameron Oliver came through with 17 points, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers on 7-of-10 shooting in 23 minutes off the bench. Every healthy Rocket is worth a look in fantasy right now and there are only eight of them.

  • Power Forward #35
Christian Wood (ankle) and Danuel House (ankle) will not play on Wednesday vs. the Lakers.
The Rockets only have two more games on their schedule after today, but the good news is that they don’t come as a back-to-back, so perhaps we’ll see Wood again one more time this season. With both Wood and House on the sidelines tonight, expect big minutes for Kelly Olynyk, Cameron Oliver and Khyri Thomas.

Cameron Oliver came off the bench and played 19 minutes, hitting 6-of-10 shots and a 3-pointer for 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal in Monday’s loss to the Blazers.
Oliver looked pretty good in his limited run and the Rockets lost Danuel House tonight. As long as Christian Wood is out, Oliver is going to have a role down the stretch for the short-handed Rockets. Give him a look.

  • FA Small Forward #49
Cameron Oliver is expected to play for the Rockets on Monday night at Portland.
They just signed him to a 10-day contract and given the healthy bodies the Rockets have available, or lack thereof, anything is possible tonight for Oliver.

  • FA Small Forward #49
According to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc, the Rockets will sign Cameron Oliver to a 10-day contract.
Oliver is expected to be in uniform for the Rockets’ final four games. And if he sees action, he will be the 29th player to do so in what has been a brutal season for Houston. Given how depleted the roster currently is Oliver, who averaged 17.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game with the Cairns Taipans in Australia’s NBL, won’t lack for opportunities to show what he can do.

  • FA Small Forward #49
Nevada F/C Cameron Oliver agreed to a multi-year deal with the Rockets.
Oliver is a physical freak with a chiseled 6'8" frame, a 7'1" wingpsan and 39.5 max vertical. He was dominant during his sophomore season at Nevada, averaging 16.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.6 blocks and 1.9 triples. He’s still a bit raw offensively, but he’s an intriguing long-term project and his explosive athleticism would fit well in Houston’s run-and-gun offense.

Cameron Oliver is scheduled to work out for the Nets on Wednesday and the Knicks on Thursday.
Oliver is an explosive four-man with a shredded body and 3-point range, although he’s still very raw on the offensive end, which is why he’s being billed as a long-term project and figures to go deep in the second round on draft day. It’s unlikely he’ll make an immediate impact in fantasy hoops during his rookie year.
  • FA Small Forward #49
Cameron Oliver has signed a training camp deal with Portland.
Oliver will audition for a regular-season roster spot at camp, but he’s likely bound for the G-League.
