Baylor on Monday announced the hiring of two members off of Texas A&M’s recruiting staff.
Larry McDonald has joined the staff as assistant AD for football recruiting after working as the Aggies’ director of recruiting in 2019, and Landrie Walsh has been named director of on-campus recruiting after working as a recruiting assistant at Texas A&M.
The pair follows Austin Thomas, who was hired as Baylor’s senior associate AD of football operations and general manager in late January after serving as Texas A&M’s associate AD for football personnel for the previous year and a half.
Baylor also announced a number of other off-the-field hires and promotions on Monday, including the promotion of Quintin Jordan as director of football operations after working as Baylor’s director of football administration under Matt Rhule.
Dave Aranda also hired four quality control assistants: West Texas A&M offensive coordinator Jake Brown (offense), former All-Big 12 offensive lineman Zachary Crabtree (offense), Utah State safeties coach Mike Caputo (defense) and Penn State quality control assistant Aman Anand (special teams).
