Big East’s leading rusher won’t play this weekend

Unless you’re Jordan Todman‘s mother -- or Sean Martin -- you might not have realized that the UConn running back is currently the leading rusher in the Big East this season.

Unfortunately for the Huskies, Todman won’t be able to add to his league-leading rushing total this weekend.

UConn released their injury report earlier Thursday, and Todman was listed as “out” with an arm injury and will not play against Buffalo. Todman suffered an injury to his elbow during this past Saturday’s semi-stunning loss to Temple.

Todman has rushed for 448 yards and five touchdowns this season. The junior is averaging 7.3 yards per carry.

Not only does Todman lead the conference in rushing, his average of 149.3 yards per game is fourth in the nation.
