Kansas State coach Bill Snyder sent Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro a hand-written note following Amaro’s injury Saturday against Baylor. Amaro posted the note to Twitter on Monday -- seriously, good on you, Bill Snyder.THE upmost respect to Kansas State and Coach Snyder, great program and an even greater coach. Huge fan. pic.twitter.com/fjeflBLU47

Kansas State played Texas Tech Nov. 9, winning 49-26 in Lubbock. Amaro is in the midst of a massive season, with 92 catches for 1,157 yards and six touchdowns to his name. He’s a semifinalist for both the Biletnikoff and Mackey Awards, and before his injury against Baylor hadn’t caught fewer than eight passes in a game since Texas Tech’s season-opening win over SMU.
This isn’t the first time Snyder has sent a classy hand-written note to an opposing player -- after K-State lose to FCS-level North Dakota State in its season opener, Snyder sent a congratulatory letter to quarterback Brock Jensen.
