The gambling public, in addition to the lopsided odds set for the matchup of Top-10 unbeatens, has apparently taken notice of the dominant run Florida State’s been on the past couple of weeks.
In the last set of Bovada.lv odds for the 2013 BCS title we posted here two weeks ago, the Seminoles were at 12/1, the same number as Baylor and Clemson and behind Alabama (7/4), Oregon (11/5) and Ohio State (6/1). After beating Clemson and two other ACC opponents by a combined score of 163-31 the past three weeks, those odds have climbed significantly for FSU.
The ‘Noles are now at 9/4 to win the 2013 BCS title, the same odds given to Oregon. The Ducks are slightly longer odds than the 7/4 they were a week ago but slightly shorter than the 11/5 they were two weeks ago.
Alabama, at 7/4 and 8/5 the past two weeks, comes in at the latter number in Bovada‘s latest release.
Ohio State (15/2, from 9/1), Baylor (12/1, from 10/1) and Miami (33/1, from 20/1) have both seen their odds lengthen from last week.
One-loss Auburn, which has been off the board all season long, is now on it at 66/1. Stanford at 33/1 is the only one-loss team listed by Bovada.
