Father Claims Kevin Grady Didn’t Violate Terms of Probation... Kind of

The Grady family has been in the news quite a bit the last few weeks. Kelvin Grady has given up his hoop dreams at Michigan and will be joining the Wolverines football team. Older brother Kevin Grady, who pleaded guilty to violating his probation from a drunk driving conviction, was forced to spend 7 days in prison. Now Kevin Grady Sr. is taking to the radio waves to discuss the family business. And surprisingly, he’s defended his older son, claiming that the published reports about Grady not completing the terms of his probation were false."Those are not correct, those accusations are not, that he did not fulfill any of his obligations,” Grady Sr. told WTKA 1050 in Ann Arbor. “He had to have it done before his probation was done in July, and Kevin did complete three-fourths of it. Those accusations are not right."Sorry, Mr. Grady. I’m not sure how someone can complete three-fourths of a victim impact panel, or pass only 3/4s of the drug test that he failed, but we certainly shouldn’t paint your son with too harsh of a brush. We’d hate to see Kevin actually have to complete all four quarters of his probation after being pulled over with a blood-alcohol level three-and-a-half times the legal limit.
