In an Oklahoma Class 2A state semifinal playoff game last weekend, a freshman at Heritage Hall High School took a pitch on a reverse, broke a couple of tackles, turned upfield, hurdled a player near the sideline, and ran 64 yards for a touchdown.That freshman’s name? Barry Sanders Jr.Yes, Barry Sanders -- the Oklahoma State Heisman Trophy winner and Detroit Lions Hall of Famer -- has a son who’s a high school football players. And all indications are that he’s going to be a very good one.”He’s already bigger than his dad,” Heritage Hall coach Andy Bogert said before Barry Jr.'s freshman season started. “And he’s only going to get bigger, stronger and faster.”In four years, don’t be surprised if Barry Sanders Jr. is playing for Oklahoma State.
