Florida State probably doesn’t need a boost to throttle Miami this weekend (the early line is FSU by three touchdowns), but they might get one anyway.
Via ESPN’s David Hale, running back James Wilder is expected to practice Monday after missing FSU’s blowout win over N.C. State on Saturday with a concussion.
Wilder, last season’s Orange Bowl MVP, is third on FSU with 41 carries for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Coach Jimbo Fisher said Wilder was “close” to being cleared to play vs. N.C. State after suffering his concussion at Clemson.
FSU has the nation’s third-best scoring offense (52.6 points per game), only trailing Baylor and Oregon.
