Ok. St.'s Devon Thomas arrested on felony charges, including shooting with intent to kill
A rather serious set of charges has prompted the “Days Without An Arrest” ticker to be pushed back to double zeroes.
While the details are scant thanks to the story largely being shoved behind a paywall, Tulsa World is reporting Friday morning that Oklahoma State running back Devon Thomas was arrested Wednesday and charged with a pair of felonies. Specifically, Thomas was charged with armed robbery and shooting with intent to kill.
Below is a part of the free portion not behind a paywall:
OSU has yet to comment on what these charges mean for Thomas’ status on the team, although the severity of the situation leads one to think the player has more important things to worry about than football.
Thomas was a three-star member of the Cowboys’ 2014 recruiting class, rated as the No. 30 running back in the country by Rivals.com. The Broken Arrow, Okla., product also held offers from, among others, Oklahoma, Clemson and West Virginia.
