Starting Wazzu WR giving up football for track

The upheaval on Washington State’s depth chart and roster continued today as it was learned that starting wide receiver Jeshua Anderson has decided to give up football to concentrate on track, the Seattle Times is reporting.

Anderson was the Cougars’ second-leading receiver last season and started the first two games of 2009. This season, Anderson had four receptions for 66 yards.

The junior is a two-time NCAA 400-meter hurdles champion.
