Georgia’s game against Georgia Tech obviously won’t have any impact on their SEC title hopes that lay in the wings next week, but beating the Yellow Jackets is all about state pride.
The Bulldogs will have to have some running back pride too if they’re going to pull out a win against GT today. UGA has had running back issues for the past few weeks because of injuries and the Dawgs could rely on guys like Brandon Harton again today. Offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said on pregame radio show this morning that “Isaiah [Crowell] is going to be more a game-time situation. Carlton [Thomas] will be ready to go if needed.”
Both running backs are on the dress list for today. So far, only Thomas has seen early game action.
