UTEP’s leading WR busted on weapon, ‘terroristic threat’ charges

Mike Price retired as UTEP’s head football coach yesterday, but the Miners are still in the headlines for other reasons. Unfortunately for UTEP, it involves one of its best players.

Per KFOXTV, leading receiver Jordan Leslie was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly made “terroristic threats” to a fellow student with a gun. Leslie has been charged with one count of unlawful carrying of a weapon and one count of making a terroristic threat, according to El Paso County criminal records.

UTEP has not specified what, if any, disciplinary action the school will take regarding the matter.

Leslie leads the Miners with 805 yards and five touchdowns on the season.
