Jets agreed to terms with SS Dawan Landry, formerly of the Jaguars, on a two-year, $3 million contract.
He’ll replace his brother, LaRon, who moved on to the Colts after turning in a Pro Bowl season in 2012. Dawan has been a full-time starter since coming into the league in 2006, but is coming off a sub-par campaign for the lowly Jags. Primarily a run-stopper, Dawan should benefit from his reunion with coach Rex Ryan, who served as his defensive coordinator with the Ravens from 2006-08.
