Rafael Devers homered twice in a loss to the Rockies on Sunday.

Devers hit two of the Giants’ four homers, both off of Tanner Gordon. The 29-year-old slugger has now gone deep 18 times in 2026, and he’s driven 47 RBI over the first 89 games of the 2026 campaign. After a disastrous — at least per expectations — start to the season, Devers is starting to swing the bat at a level fantasy managers have grown accustomed to.

ESPN’s Jorge Castillo reports the Diamondbacks are acquiring Lars Nootbaar from the Cardinals.

It’s a bad sign for rookie Ryan Waldschmidt as Arizona appears poised to land Nootbaar in a buzzer-beater. The 28-year-old drew significant interest across the league with the Diamondbacks finding a way to get the deal across the finish line. He represents an immediate upgrade for Arizona against right-handed starters.

White Sox acquired C Joey Bart from the Braves for RHP Duncan Davitt.

Bart augments Chicago’s catching depth while starter Kyle Teel (ankle) is on the injured list. The 29-year-old is headed to his third team this season. He can be safely ignored for fantasy purposes.

The Guardians are acquiring Foster Griffin from the Nationals, according to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand.

This one qualifies as a surprise. According to multiple reports, the Nationals are getting four players back in the deal. The 31-year-old journeyman earned a trip to the All-Star Game last month and has posted a strong 3.06 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 116/30 K/BB ratio across 129 1/3 innings in his stateside return. The move to Cleveland is a boost to his fantasy appeal since he should benefit from facing weaker lineups in the AL Central in addition to pitching in some friendlier ballparks.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports the Twins are acquiring Jeff Hoffman from the Blue Jays.

Hoffman was instrumental in Toronto’s playoff success last year, but found himself out of the closer role with the emergence of Louis Varland, who ironically came over from the Twins at last year’s deadline. The 33-year-old should bolster Minnesota’s relief corps as they attempt to make a playoff push in the final two months.

Red Sox acquired OF Eli White from the Braves for RHP Tyler Uberstine.

White bolsters Boston’s bench mix and should get some chances against left-handed starters over the final two months. The 32-year-old has been a key role player for Atlanta over the last two years.

Braves acquired RHP Tyler Uberstine from the Red Sox for OF Eli White.

Atlanta has had trouble filling innings out of their bullpen for months, which Uberstine should help address. The 27-year-old didn’t have a path to helping the Red Sox given their rotation depth, but he should get some chances with the Braves over the final two months. He made one relief appearance for Boston back in early April.

Cubs acquired RHP Ryan Zeferjahn from the Angels for C/DH Moisés Ballesteros and RHP Mason McGwire.

Zeferjahn has been a lights-out reliever for the Angels since showcasing improved control over the last few weeks. The 28-year-old could easily wind up getting a look in Chicago’s closing mix while Daniel Palencia remains sidelined.

Angels acquired C/DH Moisés Ballesteros and RHP Mason McGwire from the Cubs for RHP Ryan Zeferjahn.

Ballesteros got off to a phenomenal start to the year before an extended cold spell earned him a ticket back to the minors by mid-June. The 22-year-old is an interesting hitting prospect and a worthwhile gamble for the Angels as they attempt to figure out their next steps as a franchise.
