Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy confirmed that Ranger Suarez (groin) will be activated to start Tuesday’s game against the Orioles.
Suarez draws the starting assignment at Fenway Park for his first outing since July 5 as Boston looks to extend their unbelievable winning streak to 15 consecutive games. The 30-year-old southpaw got off to a rocky start in his Red Sox debut, but finished the first half with a strong 3.15 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 97/26 K/BB ratio across 91 1/3 innings to earn an All-Star Game selection.
