Logan Gilbert allowed three runs through 5 2/3 innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Rangers.
Gilbert didn’t allow much hard contact today, but the five hits he surrendered were bunched up; he allowed two to produce a run in the first and three, along with a walk, in a two-run fourth. It’s the first time in eight starts that Gilbert failed to complete six innings. He remained 8-6 with a 3.44 ERA, but the Mariners did improve to 13-8 in his outings. He’ll face the Twins next weekend.
