It’s expected to be Rodón’s final tune-up before returning to New York’s rotation. The 33-year-old veteran’s velocity was down slightly while allowing three runs over 2 2/3 innings for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre last weekend. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on this final rehab outing before slotting him back into their rotations.

Wood is first eligible to be activated later this week, but that’s not going to happen, according to Butera. The rookie skipper added that Wood has progressed to taking dry swings in addition to some light throwing as he works his way back from a mild oblique strain that put him on the injured list last week. It sounds like the 23-year-old rising superstar is going to need some extra time before he’s ready, but it sounds like there’s a decent chance he’s back before the end of August.

Ortiz takes a seat with lefty Shota Imanaga toeing the rubber for Chicago in this one. He’ll continue to sit in favor of Andrés Chaparro against most left-handers over the final few weeks of the season. The 24-year-old rookie has gone deep twice in seven games since returning to the majors last week. He’s at least worthy of a speculative roster spot in deeper mixed leagues based on his power upside.

Lee returns to Toronto’s pitching mix in the wake of veteran starter Jameson Taillon hitting the injured list with a forearm issue. The 27-year-old has delivered a lackluster 5.06 ERA across 5 1/3 innings over five appearances in the majors this season.

The only positive takeaway is that initial imaging doesn’t seem to have turned up any structural issues after Taillon left Monday’s start against the Red Sox with forearm discomfort. The 34-year-old veteran heads back to the shelf after making only two starts for Toronto following his exit from Chicago’s rotation back in late July. It’ll likely be Simeon Woods Richardson taking his spot in the Blue Jays’ rotation against the Yankees this weekend.

Rodríguez hasn’t required a trip to the injured list yet, but he’s sitting out for the third straight contest due to left hip discomfort. It’ll be Henry Davis continuing to handle the catching duties in his absence. The 26-year-old former top prospect has been rolling at the dish, hitting .284 (27-for-95) with six homers, 15 RBI and four steals over his last 30 games.

Genao takes a seat with Travis Bazzana at the keystone and Brayan Rocchio at shortstop. The 22-year-old top prospect has made some serious waves, hitting .368 (7-for-19) with one homer and two RBI in five games since being promoted from Triple-A Columbus last week. He boasts impressive contact skills and has shown some impressive over-the-fence pop over the last few months. He’s seeing the ball extremely well at the moment and should be rostered in all fantasy formats, even if he’s going to cede the occasional start to Bazzana at second base when Rocchio is in the lineup.

McAdoo has just six games in the outfield in the minors this season, but the Blue Jays are clearly going to give him every chance to keep his bat in the lineup while he’s on a hot streak. Including his minor league games, McAdoo has homered in his last five games and has a .467 average with 14 RBI over his last seven games (six of which were in Triple-A).

McClanahan has been sidelined with mid-back tightness since July 31st. Since it hasn’t been a long absence, the Rays may only have him make one or two rehab starts before bringing him back. He will take Griffin Jax’s (elbow) spot in the rotation, which means Ian Seymour will also get to keep his spot.

Congrats to Enmanuel and his growing family. The 29-year-old has a 3.58 ERA in 37 2/3 innings out of the Tigers’ bullpen this season.
