Rafael Devers went 1-for-4 and clobbered a two-run homer on Friday night, powering the Giants to a 5-2 victory over the visiting Tigers.
Devers gave the Giants an early lead that they would never relinquish with his 401-foot (100.0-mph EV) two-run blast to center off of Keider Montero in the home half of the first inning. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, the 29-year-old slugger is now slashing .248/.321/.478 with 24 homers and 68 RBI.
