Cristopher Sánchez threw six scoreless innings but didn’t pick up a decision versus the Cardinals on Tuesday.
Sánchez was outstanding. His offense was anything but, so it’s as hard-luck of a no-decision as you can have. The southpaw struck out seven and scattered four hits without issuing a walk, and his ERA on the season is now a healthy 2.54. Sánchez has allowed just two runs in three starts in the month of August, and he’ll try and keep it that way against the Marlins come Monday.
