Josh Jung went 1-for-4 and clubbed his 10th home run of the season on Thursday night, but it wasn’t enough to power the Rangers past the Red Sox.
Jung opened the scoring in the ballgame as he crushed a 369-foot (98.1-mph EV) solo shot off of Sonny Gray in the home half of the first inning. That would be his only hit in four at-bats in the contest. The 28-year-old infielder has done a nice job when he has been on the field this season, slashing .298/.361/.449 with 10 homers and 38 RBI in 418 plate appearances.
