This was one Lowder will want to forget. The Pirates were all over him in the first inning, putting up five runs on five hits and a walk. He recorded the first out in the second and walked three straight batters to load the bases before he was relieved by Connor Phillips, who allowed all three inherited runners to score. Lowder came into the day with a 3.18 ERA and leaves with a 5.09 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and a 26/14 K/BB ratio across 35 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Cubs in Chicago on Thursday.

Bolton will make his first start since coming off the injured list Thursday. The right-hander will likely get no more than a couple turns through the lineup, and there should be better fantasy option for those looking for a streamer.

Walker underwent concussion tests after being hit in the head by a 93 mph fastball. The 35-year-old appears to be ok, but fantasy managers shouldn’t be stunned if Houston gives him a day to recover, either.

Bazzana started his season hitless over his first three games. His first career hit would come with the bases loaded, a ground ball up the middle to score two runs. He then swiped second for his first career stolen base. The 23-year-old second baseman has a solid prospect profile across the board, while not excelling in one area, probably best suited for deeper OBP leagues, given his strong plate discipline.

Manzardo had gotten the day off with a lefty on the mound for the A’s. He entered the game as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and took Luis Morales deep for a three-run blast. It was the second home run of the season for Manzardo. He’s struggled over the first month, slashing .187/.272/.275 with ten RBI across 103 plate appearances.

Langeliers has been scorching at the plate over the last week, with Saturday’s three-hit game his fifth multi-hit contest in seven games. He got the scoring started with a two-run homer off Slade Cecconi in the first inning, then added a solo homer in the fifth for his second of the game. Langeliers later singled in the seventh for his third hit. The 28-year-old catcher is hitting an incredible .336/.390/.627 with ten homers, 24 runs scored, and 18 RBI across 146 plate appearances.
