Christian Walker went 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored, and two RBI to power the Astros to an 11-0 win over the Athletics on Saturday.
Walker had a big day at the plate in Sacramento, starting with a base hit in the first inning to drive in a run. He followed with a leadoff homer in the second off Luis Morales, his first of the season, then drew a walk and scored in the fourth. Walker added a double and his third run scored in the sixth for a three-hit game. The 35-year-old slugger is off to his hard-hitting ways in the early going, coming into this one with a 63.6% hard-hit rate and adding two more batted balls of 108 mph and 105 mph.
