Chourio could potentially earn up to $142.5 million if the two option years are exercised. It’s the largest financial commitment for a prospect that has yet to reach the big leagues. According to MLB Pipeline, Chourio, who turns 20 years old in March, is one of just four teenagers with a 20-homer, 40-steal minor league season since 1995. He’ll get a legitimate chance to win the center field job in Milwaukee come spring training. The Brewers also have Garrett Mitchell, Sal Frelick, Joey Wiemer and Tyrone Taylor as internal options, so if the organization believes Chourio is ready now, it might make sense to move Christian Yelich to first base.

Glasnow took Kumar Rocker deep twice in the first four innings, but he saved his biggest blow for the ninth, hitting a solo homer with two outs off lefty Jacob Latz. It was Muncy’s second career three-homer game and first with five runs scored, as he also crossed home plate after a single and reaching on a forceout. He entered the night with just one RBI in 11 games, and he still hasn’t plated anyone besides himself, as all of tonight’s homers were solo shots. However, he has scored 11 runs for the 10-3 Dodgers.

Glasnow left with a one-run lead and was in line for the win until Edwin Díaz blew the save in the ninth. His bad inning tonight was the third, when he gave up singles to Josh Smith and Brandon Nimmo before Corey Seager hit a three-run homer. He’ll still be a fine play next week in Colorado against the Rockies.

Díaz coughed up the lead in a ninth that saw him give up four hits, including a homer to Evan Carter. It’s his first blown save after converting four chances for the Dodgers but also his first win. Since he didn’t work either of the previous two days, he’ll probably be back out there if a save situation presents itself Saturday.

Rocker, who gave up two homers to Max Muncy, induced just eight misses on 41 swings and had a 19-percent CSW tonight. He seems like a weak play next week against the A’s in Sacramento.

That’s a nice turnaround after Pages, the NL Player of the Week last week, went 3-for-12 with six strikeouts in the three-game series against the Blue Jays. All three of his balls in play tonight were hit at least 100 mph, though his homer, a 396-foot shot to center, would have left just nine of the 30 ballparks, according to Statcast.

Carter’s homer was a 373-footer that would have left 17 parks, according to Statcast. He’s not off to a particularly strong start at .237/.341/.395 in 44 plate appearances, but his EV numbers are a little bit better than usual. He’ll probably be mixed-league relevant if he stays healthy, but he has, of course, had major difficulties in that department.

Arozarena also singled and recorded an RBI on a HBP. The Mariners had good reason to drop him to fifth in the lineup after the Brendan Donovan acquisition, but they could consider revisiting that with everyone ahead of him struggling at the moment. He’s batting .271/.407/.396 for a team that’s hitting just .190/.297/.311 on the whole.

Hancock was given three runs to work with the first, but he quickly coughed up the lead in a three-run second. Fortunately, he was fine afterwards, and the Mariners got him some more help in the fifth. Hancock wound up with 12 whiffs and a fine 34-percent CSW with his fastball velocity up once again. He’s averaged 95.1 and 95.7 mph in his last two starts after coming in at 93.5 mph in his no-hit bid against the Guardians to open the season. He’s a middling mixed-league play next week against the Padres, but he could be a better option the following week while likely making a home start against the A’s and a road outing versus the Cardinals.

Muñoz successfully protected a three-run lead after Yordan Alvarez’s three-run homer in the eighth brought the Astros to within shouting distance. He needed 25 pitches to get his three outs, but considering that he had five days off coming into this one, he’ll probably be available Saturday anyway.

The bottom of the first started walk, walk, single, walk and HBP before Imai finally got his first out on a grounder. Another walk followed, and Imai was done after 37 pitches. Imai now had 13 strikeouts and 11 walks through 8 2/3 innings as a major leaguer. He’ll probably have more good starts than bad this season, but since he’s still working to adjust to the MLB baseball and a new pitching schedule, he’ll be considerably more interesting in fantasy leagues next year than he is right now.
