The 25-year-old second baseman smacked an RBI single in the fourth inning that gave the Guardians a 2-1 lead they’d never relinquish, He then swiped second base and wound up stranded there. He also added some valuable insurance with a two-run double in the eighth inning that made it a 6-1 ballgame. With his three-hit attack, Giménez is now hitting .258/.306/.340 with five homers, 48 RBI and 20 stolen bases on the season.
