All three homers have come in May while he’s hit .320 in the month. The 25-year-old backstop is hitting .266/.336/.387 with 22 runs scored and 13 RBI across 137 plate appearances on the season.

Scott was summoned to close out the game with a one-run lead over the Diamondbacks in the ninth inning. He surrendered a solo homer to Gabriel Moreno to tie the game. With the game going to extras, Scott remained in to pitch the tenth and gave up a two-run homer to Corbin Carroll to put Arizona ahead. Anthony Banda would record the final out and fall in line for the win after Los Angeles walked it off in the bottom of the frame. It was Scott’s third blown save and first runs he’s allowed since April 22, breaking an eight-game scoreless streak.

Yamamoto was lights out against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. He had allowed just one walk through six no-hit innings before Ketel Marte led off the seventh with a base hit. Yamamoto walked one more batter in the frame before finishing the inning, collecting nine strikeouts on ten whiffs. The 26-year-old right-hander will take an outstanding 1.86 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and a 68/18 K/BB ratio across 58 innings into a start against the Guardians in Cleveland on Monday.

Nelson had a solid day on the mound in his first start in the rotation as he fills in for the injured Eduardo Rodriguez. He held the Dodgers to one run on three hits and one walk while striking out two over five innings on an efficient 71 pitches. The 27-year-old right-hander has posted a 4.60 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 30/11 K/BB ratio across 31 1/3 innings. Nelson will make his next start against the Pirates in Arizona on Monday.

O’Hoppe put the Angels on the board with a solo homer off Gunnar Hoglund in the fourth inning, his 11th of the season. He then drove in a second run with a base hit in the fifth to give the Angels the lead. The 25-year-old catcher is slashing a strong .264/.296/.500 with the 11 homers and 25 RBI across 152 plate appearances.

Moncada’s only hit of the day was a big one as he took Gunnar Hoglund deep for a three-run blast in the fifth inning. He later added a base hit in the ninth for his second hit and just his second multi-hit effort on the season. The 29-year-old third baseman is up to four homers while hitting .229/.349/.486 with 16 RBI across 83 plate appearances.

Kurtz was riding a six-game hitless streak before getting on base with a single in the second inning. He then went yard for his second home run of the season with a two-run blast in the fourth off Kyle Hendricks. The 22-year-old first baseman is hitting .222/.270/.346 with eight RBI across 89 plate appearances.

Langeliers knocked a base hit in the second inning and scored the first run of the game on a single by Luis Urías. He later led off the fourth with a solo homer off Kyle Hendricks for his ninth home run of the season while slashing .256/.320/.463 with 25 RBI across 178 plate appearances.
