Mike Yastrzemski went 0-for-4 from the leadoff spot in Monday’s loss to the Tigers.
Yastrzemski got off to a great start this year, but he last homered on Apr. 30 and is hitting .234/.322/.309 this month. Still, the Giants have a bunch of slumping hitters, and it’s unlikely that Yastrzemski’s struggles will cost him playing time.

Andrew Vaughn underwent surgery to repair his fractured left hamate bone Monday.

The Brewers believe that the 27-year-old will be back with the Brewers in the middle of May, although that ETA obviously could differ based on how things go in that rehab. In the meantime, it’ll be Jake Bauers who gets most of the reps at first base, with Gary Sanchez getting those starts against lefties.
  • MIA 3rd Baseman #1
Connor Norby is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the White Sox.
