Angels signed first-round pick Tyler Bremner to a contract with a $7,689,525 bonus.
The Angels are saving a bit more than $2.5 million against Bremner’s $10,252,700 draft slot value as the No. 2 overall pick, and some of that has already been used to sign third-rounder Johnny Slawinski for about $1.5 million over slot. Bremner was originally expected to go in the middle of round one before the Angels made him the first pitcher off the board. He should be one of the draft’s quickest movers, with a 2026 MLB debut likely if he remains healthy.
