Ezequiel Duran went 2-for-4 with a double, walk, two runs scored and two RBI as the Rangers triumphed over the Athletics on Thursday afternoon.
Duran smacked a one-out double off of Jacob Lopez in the third inning and scored the game’s first run on Brandon Nimmo’s RBI single. He then worked a one-out walk in the fifth, swiped second base and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Jake Burger. Duran also added a two-run single in the ninth to add some valuable insurance. For the season, the versatile 26-year-old is now slashing .250/.318/.375 to go along with one home run, four RBI and three stolen bases in 44 plate appearances.
