For a glorious 75 games in 2017-18, Victor Oladipo was at his absolute best. Then a spry 25 years old, he averaged 23.1 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 4.3 apg, 2.4 spg, 0.8 bpg and 2.1 3s en route to first-round fantasy value (he was 10th overall on BasketballMonster.com’s 9-category leaderboard).
In two seasons since then, Oladipo has played a grand total of 55 games, yet he is (per Bleacher Report) looking for a max contract.
On the latest episode of the Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball Podcast, Steve Alexander joins me to discuss what’s next for Oladipo in fantasy (could he be a mid-round value in drafts?), and in his actual career (probably not a max contract).
Meanwhile, there’s a report from The Athletic in which Kawhi Leonard‘s teammates appear to be growing tired of things like Kawhi sitting out games whenever he chooses.
Given that he’s coming off a year where he averaged 27.1 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 4.9 apg, 1.8 spg, 0.6 bpg and 2.2 3s, can you build a winning fantasy roster if you knowingly sign up for 60ish games of Kawhi?
