WR Notes: Nico Collins warmed all the way back up (8/119) heading into the Texans’ bye. Likely as healthy as he’s been since Week 1, he does have to do battle with the Dolphins’ Jalen Ramsey-keyed coverage. Just three teams permit fewer WR fantasy points. … My Reddit AMA earlier this week featured a stunning amount of A.J. Brown concern. It goes without saying you’re not benching him, but we can’t just assume the squeaky wheel is greased vs. an elite Steelers pass defense, one with more interceptions (15) than touchdowns allowed (14). … Terry McLaurin’s volume is never quite where you want it, but his quarterfinals-week matchup is to die for. Allowing the eighth most WR fantasy points on the year, the Saints have been even more giving over the past month. … The Colts entered their Week 14 bye playing severely underrated pass defense. This is not a Courtland Sutton smash spot, but he’s one of the league’s clearest-cut top options for his team while Bo Nix’s play has improved with each passing week, pun not exactly intended. You can feel good about a player who was barely a WR3 two months ago.

With the 49ers’ run-game in injury shambles, Jauan Jennings’ middle-of-the-field pass catching isn’t about to get less important. The Rams just allowed a Week 14 perfect game against Josh Allen. Jennings has an absurdly high floor with easily-achievable ceiling. … My Week 14 Jerry Jeudy rank (WR9) was probably more with my heart than my head, though it turned out acceptable enough (WR20). I will remain arguably overly bullish because he continues to combine strong volume with touchdown-scoring opportunities. Cedric Tillman’s (concussion) likely return is a potential limiting factor, but Jeudy was leaving Tillman behind even before his head injury. The Chiefs’ typically stout pass defense has been far from imposing over the past month, to the point it’s getting corners to un-retire.Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s target totals remain stubbornly low, but he’s become ludicrously efficient, catching 25-of-27 looks over the past four weeks. The Packers have the league’s eighth worst completion percentage against (68.1). JSN should be roaming free for layups. … Stuck on the outside with the same depressed target totals as JSN, DK Metcalf is now wholly reliant on either touchdowns or big plays. His usage floor is just high enough to keep him in the top 24.

Tee Higgins’ Week 14 rug pull was as ill-timed as possible. It still has all the appearances of a one-off headed into another plus matchup. The Bengals and fantasy managers alike just need to remember Tee is not a true WR1. … Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson both had their best games in a month last weekend. Now they face what could be the final smash spot of Aaron Rodgers’ career in the Jaguars. Both belong in the top 20 for what amounts to the Super Bowl for an on-the-way-out signal caller. … Drake London’s Kirk Cousins-fueled inefficiency and lack of spiked weeks has become too difficult to ignore. You can’t bench him, but it’s best to admit what he is: A volume-based WR2. London does at least have decent odds of breaking his four-game scoring drought against a Raiders defense coughing up the third most passing touchdowns. … Calvin Ridley disappointed in a Week 14 smash spot so the football gods gave him an even better one for Week 15. There is still only so high you can rank the young man against a Bengals defense that did manage to corral Cooper Rush on Monday Night Football. Will Levis isn’t much better.

I’m sick of Zay Flowers’ schtick, but his targets floor has remained steadier than it is in my mind’s eyes. He also has to be in the top 24 with the Ravens sporting the highest implied team total of Week 15. … Opposing Flowers will be Malik Nabers, who in theory has a golden matchup in a Ravens defense allowing the most passing yards. In reality, the Giants are changing quarterbacks yet again and Nabers’ ceiling has been MIA for months. Nabers has genuine floor even with Tommy DeVito, but anything else will be a miracle on a team currently forecasted to score 14 points. … With 12 catches on 22 targets over the past two weeks, Brian Thomas Jr. has become a “can’t complain” WR2. A hamstring-hobbled Sauce Gardner will be returning for the Jets, however. … Ladd McConkey (knee, shoulder) is arguably the week’s biggest question mark. If he plays, you have to worry about effectiveness and re-injury. It will at least be as the only viable wideout vs. an ever-leaky Bucs defense. … It’s a strong, strong matchup for Marvin Harrison Jr. Now let’s see if his quarterback can be bothered to care.

Amari Cooper drew 14 Week 14 targets and Khalil Shakir still reached 100 yards for only the second time all season. Keon Coleman’s (wrist) return is a Week 15 variable, but every Bills pass catcher forecasts well against a vulnerable Lions secondary in the best scoring environment we’ve seen all season. … Jordan Addison’s floor is uncomfortably low, but his ceiling is rare for a WR3. A classic chip off the ol’ Will Fuller block, Addison’s explosive-play ability gives him week-flipping upside. … Jakobi Meyers deserves better, but “upside and Desmond Ridder” don’t mix. If you’re stuck starting him, the Falcons are at least a comically-soft matchup. Aidan O’Connell is trying to keep up the illusion he might play. … The Eagles can’t even get their WR1 the ball, while he’s now publicly begging for passes. That doesn’t augur well for DeVonta Smith vs. a strong Steelers D. … Adam Thielen has become an old-fashioned cash machine PPR WR3, one with a glorious Week 15 matchup. … Jayden Reed is taking rug pulling to new heights. Talented player who could always go off, etc. … this does not project as a plus week for the Packers’ passing attack. … Josh Downs is reduced to Hail Mary WR4 status in a rough matchup, but a spiked week is always somewhere inside there lurking.
