Here we go with the Single Game NFL DFS slate for Sunday Night Football of Week 14. Today’s matchup is between the Cardinals and Rams with Arizona checking in as a 2.5 point home favorite. The over/under currently rests at 51.5 total points. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 ET.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

We will be producing these articles for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football matchups, so be sure to bookmark the NBC Sports EDGE DFS Page for those occasions - not to mention all the other fantastic daily fantasy content.

TOP PICKS

Kyler Muray - QB - Arizona (DK: $11,200 / FD: $17,000 / Yahoo: $37)

Murray came back from more than a month-long absence to score 31 fantasy points last week. He only needed 15 passing attempts to do it. That’s the power of rushing upside, especially for a guy like Murray who seemingly has a nose for the end-zone. The first time these two teams met, the shifty QB went for 23 fantasy points. That’s his baseline tonight, and there’s definitely room for another 30+ FP flex.

Matthew Stafford - QB - LA Rams (DK: $10,400 / FD: $15,500 / Yahoo: $32)

I had a really tough time nailing down the second pick of this category. At first, I had Cooper Kupp listed in this spot. However, he’s very pricey, and you can get his QB for a cheaper salary across the board. On top of that, Arizona ranks second in DVOA against WR1s. Maybe that’s enough to slow Kupp down just a little? Either way, Stafford will need to throw in this potential shootout. Despite an inefficient performance, he still came through with 20 FP in the first meeting with Arizona. I wouldn’t be surprised if Stafford pushes for 50 passing attempts in this one, which should be more than enough opportunities to come through with a nice fantasy outing.

BEST BARGAINS

Rondale Moore - WR - Arizona (DK: $2,000 / FD: $7,500 / Yahoo: $14)

The Cardinals’ receiving corps is a mess for fantasy purposes. The addition of Zach Ertz made things even less predictable, and Murray’s absence jumbled the game logs. Moore has served a check-down option over the last month, which was evident with an 11-51 line on 11 targets a few weeks ago. Usually Moore only sees a handful of targets, but that’s still not too bad when considering the $2k salary on DraftKings. I like him as a cheap filler while hoping the rookie can break off a big gainer.

Matt Gay - K - LA Rams (DK: $4,000 / FD: $8,500 / Yahoo: N/A)

There are plenty of expensive options on this slate, so taking Gay makes for a nice strategy to blend some of them into your lineup. Gay has been really solid this season, scoring eight or more fantasy points in all but one game. He should have his number called early and often in this high-scoring tilt with Arizona. Playing in a dome doesn’t hurt either.

TOURNAMENT LOOKS

Odell Beckham Jr. - WR - LA Rams (DK: $6,200 / FD: $10,000 / Yahoo: $16)

It seems like Beckham is more of the deep threat while Van Jefferson has shifted into the Robert Woods’ role. OBJ is cheaper than Jefferson, and there’s a chance he could rip off a big play or two while opening up this DFS slate. In other words, he’s the homerun hitting option, and there’s a chance the Rams will take more shots downfield while trying to keep up in this high-scoring affair.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Cooper Kupp (WR - LAR) is a borderline top pick, but his price tag is cumbersome. Looking down the line, Van Jefferson (WR - LAR) seems to be a pleasant DFS option while doing his best Robert Woods impression in the WR2 spot for Los Angeles.

James Conner (RB - ARI) has been an absolute beast lately. Tonight’s matchup doesn’t look great, but Conner should see enough work to gain fantasy relevance. The only problem comes from a marked-up salary and plenty of options on the board tonight. He’s more of a tournament choice with a slight downgrade now that Murray is back in the lineup.

Sony Michel (RB - LAR) will take on another full-time role if Darrell Henderson (questionable) misses another game. I don’t mind Michel as a filler in your lineup, but he’s less of a priority while subscribing to the fact that the Rams probably won’t be playing with a comfortable lead to feed Michel down the stretch.

DeAndre Hopkins (WR - ARI), Christian Kirk (WR - ARI), and A.J. Green (WR - ARI) are all lottery tickets in their own right. Of course, Hopkins leads that group, but you’ll pay a premium to get him. Seeing coverage from Jalen Ramsey doesn’t make matters better. Both Kirk and Green have uninspiring recent performances, but it’s hard to read into that with the Cards not passing much last week and starting Colt McCoy for several games.

Zach Ertz (TE - ARI) is one of the better pass-catching options for Arizona, and I’m comfortable with him through all formats when considering the salary. Tyler Higbee (TE - LAR), on the other hand, is more of a bargain tournament choice who can be considered as a cheap filler if you need a last-second pick in this salary range.
