We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.
We will be producing these articles for Thursday and Monday primetime matchups every week, so be sure to bookmark the Rotoworld Daily page for those occasions - not to mention all the other fantastic daily fantasy content.

TOP PICKS
Kyler Murray - QB - Arizona (DK: $13,000 / FD: $17,000)
This should be a fun matchup between two of the best fantasy QBs in the league. Even though he’s a little more expensive, Murray gets the nod as the top overall play tonight. He carries more rushing upside than Wilson, and the Arizona QB currently holds much better form. It helps that Seattle will be without DBs Shaquill Griffin and Quinton Dunbar, as the Seahawks were already coughing up the second-most fantasy points to opposing signal-callers. Murray posted 38 fantasy points against Seattle last month, and that level of production isn’t out of the question tonight.
Russell Wilson - QB - Seattle (DK: $11,800 / FD: $16,500)
Wilson ran into some regression last week, only coming up with 12 fantasy points (248-0-2) against the Rams. That marks his only game below 22 FP this season, and that should remain the case after tonight. Wilson is still averaging 28 FPPG on the year, and that’s a reasonable projection in this likely shootout. Josh Allen and rookie Tua Tagovailoa were able to post some efficient performances against the Cardinals in recent games, and Wilson himself accounted for 33 FP vs. Arizona nearly a month ago … Needless to say, I’ll be doing my best to make both QBs work in my cash game lineups tonight.

BEST BARGAINS
Carlos Hyde - RB - Seattle (DK: $5,200 / FD: $8,000)
Chris Carson is highly questionable tonight while Carlos Hyde is apparently trending in the right direction. We’ll need to double-check their status moving closer to kickoff, but it seems that Hyde could get the start. If that’s the case, he makes for a strong value on both DFS sites. Hyde took over the reins for the injured-likes of Carson the last time Seattle played Arizona. He ended up with a serviceable 15-68-1 line along with four targets (3-8). There’s a good chance that level of volume could spill into tonight’s rematch (if Carson out), making Hyde one of the better mid-range values of this slate.
Dan Arnold - TE - Arizona (DK: $2,200 / FD: $5,500)
Arnold isn’t an exciting pick, but he’s worth a look as a deep value to help round out your lineup. If you are taking Murray, Wilson, and a featured receiver, then you’ll probably need a dirt-cheap bargain to make things work. Arnold has a low fantasy floor, but he has also posted seven or more fantasy points in two of the past three weeks. He’s the best receiving threat from Arizona’s tight end position, while Maxx Williams and Darrell Daniels are currently banged-up. That could result in more snaps (and targets) for Arnold.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
DeAndre Hopkins (WR - ARI) has been up-and-down over the past few weeks, and he salvaged his fantasy performance with an epic touchdown grab to win the game last Sunday. However, I’m not sure if he’s worthy of the gaudy price point on a shortened week. It seems that DK Metcalf (WR - SEA) is the best option for the elite receivers going on this slate. Tyler Lockett (WR - SEA) will reportedly play, but he may be less than 100%. Metcalf was quiet against Arizona the last time around, but it could be his time to step up for another 20+ FP showing.
Welcome to the paragraph highlighting strong tournament choices who are borderline cash options if they blend organically into a lineup. Let’s start with Christian Kirk (WR - ARI), who checks in with a moderate discount compared to the “big three” receivers of this slate. He’s the more economical choice to pair with Murray (compared to Hopkins), and Kirk has come through with 18+ FP in three of his last four outings … David Moore (WR - SEA) and Freddie Swain (WR - SEA) find their salaries buried deep into value territory, but they are still risky fantasy commodities even with price in mind. Both of these guys (particularly Swain) would need to step up if Lockett isn’t able to see his regular snaps. Lockett is dealing with a knee sprain on a shortened week, and we don’t know how he’ll respond tonight - even though Seattle has been downplaying the issue.
Alex Collins (RB - SEA) and Andy Isabella (WR - ARI) find themselves further down the list of potential tournament choices. Collins will likely lose carries to Hyde this week, but how many becomes the question. It’s still possible that he’ll be in the mix with the outside chance of scoring a touchdown … Isabella is a big-play receiver who could pay off his salary in one play. However, he hasn’t really gotten many chances lately. He only played 15% of snaps last week while grabbing one target for 14 yards. Consider Isabella the epitome of boom-or-bust for large-field tournaments.
There’s no real upside to Larry Fitzgerald’s (WR - ARI) game anymore, but he’ll continue to see a crazy-high snap rate in this potential shootout. While a line of 4-35 is probably the most likely outcome, Fitz could push closer to his 8-62 showing vs. Seattle last time if called upon. I’m not reaching to put him in my lineup, but he’s a decent filler on both sites as the potential last piece of the puzzle.
