At this point of the football season, saying your fantasy team is dealing with injuries is the norm. You are not alone and all of our rosters have been hit hard. The show must go on and as we know your flex spot is more important than ever. Some will pan out and some will leave you upset and confused (see Ty’Son Williams against the Lions in Week 3). Here are some players who could provide you with quality production as NFL Week 4 is upon us.
Hunt made the most of his 17 touches in Week 3. With the absence of Jarvis Landry, Hunt took on an even bigger role in the passing game, trailing only Odell Beckham Jr. in targets (seven). Coming off a 155-yard, one-TD performance, Hunt should be relied on just as much in Week 4 against a Vikings defense that is middle-of-the-road as far as fantasy points surrendered to RBs goes. Look for Hunt to be a key asset in your PPR lineups in Week 4.
He has risen! When I say risen, I mean he rose from being a healthy scratch (Week 1), to a player you should have picked up on waivers a week ago. It can be confusing which Bills RB to trust from week to week. Week 3 was “Moss” week in the Bills’ backfield as he compiled 16 total touches, 91 yards and a touchdown. The Bills laid the smackdown on the Football Team and now get the Texans, who have given up the 10th most fantasy points to RBs. I liked Moss more than Devin Singletary coming into the season and it may be starting to materialize. [[ad:athena]]
Elijah Mitchell
This one of course, is based on whether or not he plays. Trey Sermon got his shot as the lead dog in Week 3 against the Packers and the results were not great from a fantasy perspective. If Mitchell can get back onto the field, he has a chance to go up against a Seahawks defense that gave up a monster day to Alexander Mattison (32 touches and 171 yards). Slide Mitchell into your flex spot immediately if he is cleared to play in Week 4.
The current RB9 is an excellent flex play as long as he continues to funnel in the targets. His ranking is not a typo and he almost looks like the best player on the Falcons offense thus far. Patterson is coming off of a Week 3 performance in which he led his team in receiving yards. This week, he faces the Football Team which ranks dead last amongst defenses in fantasy football (that’s not a typo, either). Fire him up in Week 4!

He may not get the yards, but he will certainly get you the catches. Waddle has the hilarious stat line of 21 targets, 18 catches and 106 yards the past two games. He’s a great flex play in PPR formats. If you play standard, run away. Waddle is explosive and can take a long one to the house at any moment, so there is always hope for that. No matter who is at QB, Waddle will be involved. He will face a Colts defense that gives up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to WRs.
The Bills offense answered in a major way in Week 3, and Beasley was a big part of that. He saw 13 targets that he turned into 11 receptions for 98 yards. It took him a while to get his groove back, but now he looks like that trusted option out of the slot. We know what the Texans represent as a team right now. Look for Beasley to continue to cash in. Big flex appeal for this guy in Week 4.
